the work in artwork: wishes on a plane – unreleased LP out now and video streaming on youtube

If you’d like to learn about the process of handicraft and assembly of the LP artwork, please check out this video I added to youtube. The record is out now and can be streamed in full.

clocking in at a little over 30 minutes playing time these unearthed 5 songs, intitally recorded in 2005 show the band’s musical origins, before screamish and post influences kicked in and formed records like ‘this faint line’ (released in 2008). mostly influenced by classic mid 90s emo bands and recordings such as jimmy eat world’s ‘clarity’, texas is the reason’s ‘do you know who you are?’ or the get up kids’ and christie front drive’s entire discography, some 00’s pop punk like the ataris and a more mature take on emo like elliott on ‘false cathedrals’ we get a suprisingly poppy at times, yet fragile and imperfect record, unconventionally arranged, rough and rocking that deserved to rise from the old harddisk it hibernated on for almost 15 years.

great mix of atmospheric doomy parts and garage style punk inspired blastbeats. printed red cassettes in beautiful screenprinted cardboard box. limited to 100 copies

SIRENS OF CRISIS hail from Leverkusen in Germany. In their songs they combine their musical preferences for D-Beat, Crust, Doom, Hardcore, Sludge and Punk. The band exists since 2013 and has been playing live since then. In the end of 2014 the self-titled debut with seven pieces was released and in 2015 the accompanying video for the song “Erde Kaputt”.

The new 2020 release “Abyssos” continues on the course and combines fast D-Beat passages, wide, mostly melodic guitar walls, sluggish and gloomy parts and the distinctive, crust typical vocals. The album was recorded by Tobias Schmelzer in Wermelskirchen and mixed and mastered by Mario Dahmen at the Liquid Aether Studio in Schleiden.

very limited 7″ celebrating the 10 year existence of duct hearts. this is basically half of the divided by water compilation.

when we had the divided by water 2×7″ pressed a few copies of the c/d side records were missing/faulty, so we ended up having 7 spares of the a/b side. so now, 10 years after the split 7″ with mio came out (actually this would’ve been in late 2019 but whatever!) we thought it would be nice to use these as a little anniversary release. they are handnumbered out of 8, but only 7 exist. so there is no 7/8. sorry, my mistake! this comes in a handstamped and handwritten inner sleeve with a spare copy of the cover cut down into a vertical stripe. also includes the full inlay of the 2×7″ version

TARR is a diy band with former members of Idiot Savant, KŸHL, Mounter Re Doutier etc.

this tape includes 7 songs that deal with anti-capitalism, anti-racism, anti-consumerism, nihilism, paranoya, manipulation of the masses, conspiracy theories, esoterism and solidarity in d.i.y.altogether it´s a mixture of different genre´s like screamo, postrock, emo, indie, blackmetal, noise, punk, experimental etc.
