The latest Koenich album compiles similarly considerate, provocative concepts and emotions, blending complex ideas and feelings with hard-hitting musicality, and a vocal tone that’s quick to impress and
connect. From indie to folk, country to traditional, the project is unconfined by genre or industry expectation, and soars highly on its own eclecticism and artistic purity.

Driving with faultless passion and poetic songwriting depths, composer and artist F. Kindermann (known to loyal followers of time as a color for his work in plans for nobody as well as formerly playing bass in duct hearts) is the creative mind behind Koenich – an alternative folk project with a strong focus on melody, intensity, and authenticity.

The Munich-based Koenich boasts thirty years of musicianship, from early accordion lessons to acoustic guitar, and soon enough being part of the local music scene as singer and guitarist.

Quoting influences as vast as from Johnny Cash to Mark Knopfler, Elliott Smith to Pink Floyd and Bright Eyes to Coldplay, music in all of its forms appeals and enthralls the life-long singer and composer, and this versatility shines brightly throughout his work.
