“…we will start off the review with Cara Neir which this time around mixes black metal with crust, d beat, hardcore punk and screamo.

Their side of the split starts off with a very fast post black metal sound along with screams while also bringing in elements of screamo as well as some hardcore, crust, d beat and punk influences as well as a good amount of melody and programmed blast beats and you can also hear a mixture of clean and heavy parts and after awhile solos and leads are added into the music and on the last track the bass guitars get more powerful in sound and you can also hear a brief use of spoken word samples being utilized.

Song lyrics cover darkness and despair themes, while the production has a very dark, raw and heavy sound.

Next up is Flesh Born a band that mixes black metal, punk, crust and grind together.

Their side of the split starts up with a very dark and raw sound and after awhile the music goes into a fast crust grind direction along with high pitched screams and blast beats while also slowing down and adding in melody as well as adding in distorted sounds and you can also hear some black metal influences in the music and on the last track clean playing is added into the music along with a small amount of guitar leads.
