The Tidal Sleep is a band from Mannheim and Karlsruhe, Germany who formed in 2011.  The Tidal Sleep play a killer style of metallic  post hardcore that employs the use of post rock leanings to formulate a really intense sound. The Tidal Sleep cites Envy, Jr. Ewing, At The Drive-In, The Smiths, and Cave In as influences. Musically, The Tidal Sleep fall into a style of post hardcore played by bands such as Pianos Become The Teeth, Caravels, and Departures. The band’s use of post rock style guitarwork results in a epic, dynamic, and at times passionate sounding style of post hardcore. The band’s vocals range from shouting to almost spoken word. Vorstellungskraft is the band’s latest eleven song full-length LP, which is set for release via This Charming Man records on July 25th, 2014.  Overall the eleven songs on  Vorstellungskraft makes for a dynamic and intense listen.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!
