Nai Harvest draw influence from ’90s emo and alt-pop, and Hairball, like their debut, is an enjoyable listen because of its lack of innovation, rather than in spite of it. Some of the album recalls the tart pop-punk spot between Wavves circa-King of the Beach and Cloud Nothings.
