Honest post-punk from Brittany. Jangly and abstract timing with sweet hooks like SWELL MAPS .
listen to the record:
The self- and life-reflective lyrics are delivered in English with a passionate Mark E. Smith duotone delivery, as if the FALL had a bit more lyrical optimism. The band describes themselves as pop, but their shambling, broken anthems with earnest delivery set them well apart from their pop peers. Found myself more engaged and amped on it with every listen, up there in the spirit of the JAM’s 1977 releases. (maximumrocknroll)
