Description
Snowskate grip kit, includes 2 preformed pieces for nose and tail, as well as 8 stripe pieces.
Tundra grip studs are higher and offer more aggressive traction than The Trail Grip, LowPro and Prism Grip and the former ExtremeGrip (now out of production)
I personally like Tundra for ollies and heelflips and generally for warmer conditions and would recommend it for people who ride through deeper snow or generally want to carve.
The lower Profile studs such as LowPro and Prism tend to be better for fliptricks, at least for me, In the end it’s a matter of preference so take this with a grain of salt
here’s what the manufacturer has to say:
Tundra is the most aggressive grip on the market that keeps your feet in place when you need it. Our one of a kind studded traction control design defeats debris, ice and snow that compromises other griptapes. Manufactured and tested in Fairbanks, Alaska.
The Trail Grip is a scaled down version of the Tundra Grip. Smaller studs .16” and closer stud pattern for more contact points.
LowPro is the same durable polyurea and pattern as Tundra Grip with a 1/8” stud profile height. Low Pro is a lower profile grip designed with safety and comfort in mind. It is a excellent solution for indoor or outdoor applications. Snow and ice does not bond to the smooth texture of the grip and can be easily cleaned off. Low Pro has the lowest profile of them all and hence the least traction but is for example suitable for barefoot skateboarding or board areas where you need just a little more traction than zero
