a vulcanized shoe that gives you great board feel, yet seems to me more abrasive resistant than the bombers and fortes I rode before, both in the upper material, but also the sole seems to be wearing out less easily now. according to board feel they are similar to the t-gun, but offer a bit more stability. they felt comfortable straight out of the box.
in my view the ripper and patriot vulc models tend run a bit longer than for example the forte, trooper, t-guns or bomber models I had before. my feet are on the mid to wider end and I can wear them a half size smaller than usual. the insoles are remarkably thick at the heels and hence comfortable
